CHAPTER 3: THE TWELVE MINUTES HE NEVER WANTED ANYONE TO SEE

Just as the ballroom descended into chaos, another voice suddenly echoed through the room.
"That's not the full video."
Everyone turned.
A middle-aged man stood near the entrance.
Nobody recognized him.
Not Olivia.
Not Sophie.
Not even most of the guests.
But Daniel did.
And the moment he saw him, every drop of color disappeared from his face.
The stranger calmly held up another phone.
"There are twelve more minutes."
The ballroom fell silent again.
The man slowly walked forward.
Confident.
Unafraid.
As if he knew exactly what was about to happen.
Daniel took a step forward.
"Turn that off."
The stranger ignored him.
"The poison isn't the most shocking part."
Olivia's heart pounded.
Sophie's confusion deepened.
Daniel looked terrified.
Not nervous.
Not worried.
Terrified.
The stranger stopped a few feet away from the bride.
Then looked directly at Olivia.
His voice softened.
"Before you watch the rest..."
A pause.
"Are you absolutely sure Daniel is the man you think he is?"
Nobody breathed.
Nobody moved.
Daniel suddenly shouted.
"Don't play it!"
For the first time that night, genuine panic broke through his calm exterior.
The stranger pressed play anyway.
The next video began.
A different location.
A different time.
The screen showed Daniel sitting across from someone in a private room.
Someone Olivia recognized instantly.
The sight hit her harder than the poisoning footage.
Because this wasn't a stranger.
This wasn't a criminal.
This wasn't an enemy.
It was someone from her own life.
Someone she trusted.
Someone who should never have been meeting Daniel in secret.
As the video continued, Olivia realized a horrifying truth.
The wedding cake...
The poison...
The lies...
None of it was the real story.
It was only the beginning.

And whatever was hidden inside those remaining twelve minutes had the power to destroy far more than a marriage.
It could destroy an entire family.
