The shooting range became completely silent as reality settled over the crowd. Emma wasn't standing there as a janitor.
She was now the club's majority owner.
She explained that she had reviewed months of complaints about harassment, unpaid overtime, unsafe behavior, and members who believed money placed them above the rules. What she witnessed that morning had confirmed every report.

Later, Tyler carefully removed the target with the perfect bullseye and asked whether it should be displayed in the trophy room.
Emma smiled.
